Match report Unfortunately with a number of regulars unavailable, Worly travelled to Melton with an under-strength team. Sam made a good start by winning the toss and elected to bat; however, 3 batsmen were soon in the hutch with only 11 on the board thanks to some good bowling and indifferent bounce. Alfie and Harry N consolidated adding 22 for the 4th wicket then DK and Harry W added a further 41 for the 5th wicket. Once, DK fell at 74, it was left to Harry W to score the runs to set a reasonable target. Although a batting point was achieved Harry W received little support from the tail and fell just short of a deserved half century with the innings finishing shortly afterwards. In response, Melton made easy work of the chase and won with nearly 30 overs and 9 wickets remaining. Another disappointing away performance and one which will need to improve next week as Worly travel to bottom side, Sudbourne Hall.
