Worlingworth Petanque Team (Worlygigs)

We are a small group of friendly people (most are retired) playing Petanque at the Cricket club on the 2 pistes at the side of the pavilion.

We play in the Suffolk Coastal Petanque Summer League in Division 3 with home games being played on Sunday afternoons (results of this years league games are further down).

As well as the matches we have lots of social games and practice sessions at WCC, and are able to use the facilities of the club including toilets and kitchen.

We would be very happy to have more players, so anyone who would like to join our “friendly bunch” will be very welcome. No experience is necessary as guidance and help will be given and also the lone of boules (balls).

When most of us started a few years ago we didn’t even know how to throw the boules, and look at us now!
