Great Bromley v Worlingworth Cricket Club 1st XI on Sat 29 Jun 2019 at 1300
Worlingworth Cricket Club Lost by 70 runs

Match report After a difficult week of call-offs and player unavailability, Rodders took a weakened team of 10 to Bromley. Unfortunately, on the hottest day of the year, he lost the toss and the hosts unsurprisingly elected to bat. With one less fielder and relatively small boundaries, runs were always going to be difficult to stop and so it proved; however, Worly collected 8 wickets and 4 bowling points in the process with Ed taking his first wickets of the season, finishing with 5. In response, a number of solid contributions down the order but unfortunately nothing to match Ed's 81 which ultimately meant Worly fell 70 runs short. A short turn around in fixtures means that Bromley are Worly's next opponents, visiting Bedfield in 2 weeks time after a Sat off next week.
