Match report After a week of heavy rain, preparations for the game had been difficult which made the toss important and Rodders won it (3 on the trot!) before inserting the visitors. The 2 Harrys, supported by good outfielding, made early inroads into a weakened Sudbourne line-up and by drinks the total was only 61 for 5. At 80 for 7, an early finish was on the cards but the visitors' later order accumulated runs steadily to bat out the 45 overs. David picked up his 4th wicket in the final over but couldn't find a deserved 5th meaning Worly missed out on a 5th bowling point. In reply, Graham and Rob rode their luck in the first few overs before Graham fell with the score at 27. With the wicket drying out and Sudbourne taking the pace off the ball, Rob and Ed hit the odd aggressive shot but excellent running between the wickets meant that the score ticked along at nearly 4 an over. Rob passed his 50 in 22nd over with the score on 75 before Ed closed out the game, reaching his 50 in scoring the winning run while also bringing up the 100 partnership.
