Match report What an improvement for our second match! Playing Hadleigh away, we won the toss and chose to bat first and stayed in for the whole twenty overs! And a fantastic day for Jess who, despite injury, retired on thirty runs with four fours. Kate was also on good form with three fours and a good first outing for Katie Davy who was sadly the only player they managed to get out, bowled with 8 runs but only after a fantastic partnership with Jess of 59 runs .
A total of fifty five runs with twenty nine extras, finishing on eighty four.

Four overs each from Kate, Jess and Fiona saw Hadleigh overtake our score after twelve overs... and that was a wrap.

We saw a notable improvement in fielding after a word from our supporters after ten overs. Lots to build on and lots of positives.

Well done all and thank you to scorer supreme Fiona and Eric for some energetic umpiring! Next match is at home next Sunday - spectators and supporters welcome!
