West Bergholt v Worlingworth Cricket Club 1st XI on Sat 25 Aug 2018 at 12.30pm
Worlingworth Cricket Club Won by 7 wickets

Match report Worly travelled to West Bergholt for their final away game of the season to be greeted by an uncut wicket (broken mower). Fortunately, captain for the day, Dan, started well winning the toss and inserting the hosts. All 4 bowlers used the wicket to their advantage often beating the bat; however, apart for a fabulous catch by Harry, the fielding didn't support the bowlers with misfields and catches costing a number of runs. West Bergholt total of 194 for 6 was a good effort given the green wicket and indifferent bounce. Worly needed a good start and Rob and Graham didn't disappoint, riding their luck at times but generally in control. At drinks, Worly were well placed at 121 for no wicket but an over later had lost both Rob and John. The hosts sensed an opportunity and put pressure back on Worly but Graham and Matt batted sensibly before Steve saw the team home with more than 7 overs to spare. Graham finished unbeaten on 72 having been on the field for the whole game.
