Match report After the 2 recent losses chasing upwards of 180, Worly finally got their noses over the line winning by 5 wkts thanks to a dominant innings from Ed. Rodders won the toss and elected to field on the small Mildenhall 2nd ground. Similar to the last few weeks, the first wkt was elusive with 47 on the board until David broke the opening partnership. 3 further wkts saw the hosts at 68 for 4 at drinks. However, Mildenhall consolidated before pressing in the last 10 overs, in the end only losing 6 wkts. Some good bowling all round with David and Ed the pick. The Worly innings start with David in a hurry before falling for 19. From there, Terry and Ed easily controlled the host's attack putting on 93 for the 2nd wkt. However, with a 9 wkt win on the cards a rush of blood saw Terry stumped. Eric, Matt and Rodders quickly followed before Ed and Dan saw Worly home with victory confirmed by a 6 from Ed. Two weeks off from the league now with a trip to the leaders, Sudbourne Hall, up next on the 26th.
