Match report With the threat of rain, the captains agreed on a 35-over a side game. Rodders won the toss and asked Battisford to bat. The visiting openers made excellent use of a good pitch and reached 118 before the 1st wicket. Worly battled back with Birthday boy Terry taking 3 wkts; however, Battisford crept to an above average score. The Worly innings began in poor light against the visiting quicks but just as Terry and Rob started to get on top, both went, Rob to injury and Terry to a catch. Ed accelerated the scoring with solid contirbutions from David and Steve but all feel in the final overs leaving 13 from the last over with Mark on strike. He managed 6 from the first 2 balls but fell to the 3rd for well-made 26, effectively ending the chase, 5 runs short.
