Worlingworth Cricket Club Lost BY 7 WICKETS

Match report A very humid evening. Matt won the toss and elected to bat George and Matt were the opening pair and faced wide ball after wide ball from Yoxfords opening bowlers so after 6 overs we were on 31 but only 6 off the bat! Yoxford eventually bowled some balls we could hit! George was bowled in the 1th over for Fred to join Matt they both batted really well with Matt on 42 and fred on 21
we knew we had to bowl tight to make a match of it but Adam Blades their opening batsmen obviously knew where to hit the ball at their ground and soon amassed a 44 before being caught by Matt, a great wicket for our bowler Will Bagnall. Yoxford soon reached the 105 target we set and had a well deserved win, but I can't help thinking if our opening pair of batsmen had actually faced some better bowling instead of all those wides the match would have been much closer!

We've had a great season this year winning 3/5 league matches well done to everyone who has played this season for the u13's
