Worlingworth Cricket Club Won by 14 runs

Match report Under cloudy skies, it was the U11's first home game of the season. After winning the toss, Worlingworth elected to field first.

The hard work put in by the coaching staff on the U11's bowling soon started to pay dividends with some accurate bowling from Josh and Harry. Then an inspired spell from Luke and Seb took 8 wickets for only 8 runs and put Worly in a strong position. Further tight bowling and good fielding left Worly chasing 223 for their first victory of the season.

After a nervous start, Josh and and Luke soon got into their stride and added 21 between them. Zac and Seb followed and added a further 17 for no loss.

With some strong bowling from Yoxford our third pair of Joe and Matty did well to defend their wicket.

Harry and Charlie were the final pair and finished the match with some really good defensive play. Worlingworth finished winners by 14 runs.

An excellent team performance with solid batting when required and much improved bowling.

Man of Match - Seb and Luke for their 8 wicket haul.
