Despite the ECB moving from Stage 3 to Stage 4 of their COVID Recovery Plan on 19 Jul in line with government direction, there remain serious doubts about the soaring infection rates and the number of recent cancelled games in the Two Counties league due to Covid and Track & Trace isolations. Therefore, with only 5 weeks of the season left and having canvassed my fellow committee members, I have decided that we will not be easing our covid restrictions for matches and Junior Training. The pavilion will continue to be open for toilets and first aid with use of the changing rooms kept to an absolute minimum. There will be no organised teas; however, we will continue to run the take-out bar.
