The Dynamos Cricket App is here!
|
We are excited to announce that today the Dynamos Cricket app has been launched to the parents of our 2020 Dynamos Cricket participants. All parents have been given priority access to the app, which will officially launch next Wednesday 13th May and we will be sharing the download link with you next week!
The Dynamos Cricket app is the perfect cricket application for all children aged 8+, and it is designed for those who have never played cricket before, as well as those looking to build on what they already know.
The 18 different skills videos and interactive quizzes provide lots of ways for children to get active at home, even with minimal space and equipment.
The app features will enable children to:
- Create a personal profile
- Learn new batting, bowling and fielding skills through activities and videos, with three levels of difficulty per area
- Do fun quizzes to earn virtual runs
- Learn about the different teams from The Hundred and pick their favourite

National Emergencies Trust (NET) Coronavirus Appeal
|
NatWest recently launched their #DonationDoubler initiative to support the National Emergencies Trust (NET) Coronavirus Appeal.
The NET are raising funds to help people in the UK cope with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and NatWest is pledging to double donations up until June 30th, or until donations have reached £5m.
As Principal Partner of England Cricket, NatWest enrolled the help of some familiar faces to help launch the initiative, including England’s men’s and women’s ODI World Cup winning captains, Eoin Morgan, and Heather Knight as well as Stuart Broad - along with NatWest ambassadors, Ebony Rainford-Brent and Michael Vaughan.
Watch the appeal video here or below, and if you would like to donate money, or rewards to help us all come together and make a difference you can do so here.

COVID-19 Crowdfunding with Spacehive
|
We understand that clubs are struggling to respond to the COVID-19 crisis, especially as many traditional fundraising events have been cancelled. For this reason, we want to remind you that the previous Dynamos Cricket ECB programme (including the £100 pledge from the ECB) has been extended to all clubs who are interested in running a COVID-19 crowdfunding campaign.
Through this crowdfunding campaign, club members and the wider community, who are in a position to do so, can pledge funds to support the club during this difficult time.
Click here to express your interest and to find out more about the process. Spacehive, our partners for this programme, can provide additional support and guidance to clubs where needed, especially those who are new to crowdfunding. The deadline to get involved is the 14th of May.

Over the course of the next few weeks we’ll be sharing our latest videos, content and updates with the recreational cricket family over email and across our social media channels.
We’d encourage you and your networks to follow our social media channels below, and to remind your cricketers that whilst they may normally receive their weekly stats via player-comms, if they haven’t opted in to marketing communications we sadly won’t be able to continue to communicate with them whilst there is no cricket.
