Match report After winning the toss, Worly took the field and quickly took the first 3 West Mersea wickets. At that point, the game moved on rapidly with 52 from the visitor's No 5 followed by 6 wickets in as many overs. At 103 for 9 it seemed the work was almost complete but a frustrating last wicket stand saw the score rise to 140. Good bowling from Chris Wells and Pete Ratcliffe; however, attack led by Si Rodwell with 5 for 43. Graham Mobbs and Terry Aldis saw the score to 55 in 10 overs before 3 wickets saw the home side falter. Dom Absolon and Chris Wells took the score past 100 before 2 more quick wickets; however, Chris and Si Rodwell saw the side home by 5 wkts.
