Match report Another of Worly's famous pulling defeat from the jaws of victory. Having lost the toss and been inserted, Worly raced along at nearly 6 an over for the 1st 20 overs with Mobbsy and Rob putting on 139 for the 1st wkt. Both passed 50 as did Ed and late order hitting from Eric and Will saw the total to 280. Despite an early wkt, Easton kept the scoreboard moving but just behind the required rate. At 150 for 4 after 30 overs the game was in the balance but Worly kept chipping away and seemed on course for a valuable win. However, a rapid 50 from Easton's No 7 and unexpected hitting from the No 9 saw the visitors over the line with 3 balls to spare. A frustrating defeat having seemingly been in the driving seat for much of the game!
