Rumburgh v Worlingworth Cricket Club 2nd XI on Sun 22 May 2016 at 13:30
Worlingworth Cricket Club Won By 18 runs

Match report Having lost the toss and been put in, 44 all out within 80 minutes didn't look like being anything other than an embarrassing batting effort. Over tea the suggestion of potentially winning was almost as ridiculous as Leicester City winning the premier league. But miracles do happen; a hungover, worn out Simon Rodwell bowled an unbelievable spell, claiming 6 wickets for 5 runs. Recognising the inability of his teammates to catch anything, he ensured that he hit the stumps for 5 of his victims. Rumburgh could not deal with his devastating swing bowling and clearly enjoyed seeing his infamous celebration so much, they just kept getting out to him.
Mark Harding kept the game interesting at the other end by bowling a series of 4 balls, but was helped out by the Toms; Tom Auchterlonie with a sharp run-out and Tom Harbinson with a diving catch.
A ridiculous game, typical Worly!
