Match report The last 2 Counties league match of the season and the first one since the end of July. With the forecast of rain, Worly were keen to bowl out Halstead in quick time; however, despite a first over wicket and a slow start from the visitors, they reached 99 for 3 at the 30 over point. The 4-wkt pair proved difficult to dislodge and it was only after the score had passed 200 that Sam took 3 wickets to keep the final score to 215 for 6. Terry started well in response but was caught in the slips off one that lifted. The rain was coming and it was no surprise that only a further 7 overs were possible before the patchy rain was replaced by a steady downpour and handshakes all round.
