Match report A extremely windy and cold evening with rain threatening in the distance the two captains tossed the coin Matt won and elected to field first. Yoxford's opening batsman Adam Blades soon put pay to some rather erratic bowling and soon notched up his 50 to retire in the 9th over. Some very young Yoxford players followed and the run rate slowed right down as Worly started to bowl well with Will Bagnall netting 2 wickets in his 4 over stint for just 15 runs. After 20 overs we were then chasing 115

Zac and Matt went out confidently but alas Zac was out in the 1st over and from then on our batting line-up struggled against some accurate bowling. Matt notched up 25 until being caught behind, our next highest scorer being Saul wells on 5. Everyone else found the conditions and some extremely good bowling from the young Yoxford team too hard to handle and were all Bowled :-(
You can safely say it was rather a disappointing result but hopefully the boys will have seen the importance of bowling and playing straight. With better conditions next game I am sure we will get back to winning ways!
