Match report It was another beautiful evening at Worlingworth as the U11's played Eye for the first time.

Captain, Harry Nesling, elected to bowl first and with our usual Wicket Keeper running late, Seb Norton wore the gloves for the first few overs.

Eye's opening pair started well and soon moved them along to 221 for no loss. With the second pair in bat, Harry changed the bowling and Luke and Seb impressed with 3 wickets between them and 2 maidens for Seb. The third pair faced accurate bowling from Matty, Joe and Luke giving away only 4 extras and 2 runs. The final pair were facing Seb, Josh and Harry. Accurate bowling resulted in two wickets for Josh and quick fielding, resulted in a run-out off Seb.

In reply, Worly batted confidently with the new opening pair of Luke and Seb passing Eye's total with some quick singles and with some loose bowling from Eye.

Zac and Joe continued to build the score with some good running between the stumps.

The Nesling brothers were the third pair and again batted steadily with both boys supporting each other and added 10 for 1 loss of wicket.

With the game safe, the last pair of Josh and Charlie were there to add some further points and try to reach a good score. Again, with good running and some boundaries the final score was 299.

Worly were very impressive tonight with good shot selection and running by all batsmen. Our bowling was accurate and our fielding solid, with good backing-up.

Well done everyone - a good team effort all round.

Also well done to Harry for his first captaincy. Good organisation of the field and bowling order.
